Original sheet metal in many spots was really not that bad.
Lots of grease, undercoating, and acoustic sealant.

Time to clean up the originals and do a trial fit.
They were much more poorly built, but the new ones were not that far off the originals.
The new floors did not fit well, so I thought I’d dust off the originals and compare them size for size.

I had done a cleaning of the handbrake mechanism a long time ago as it was not working when I got the car. It worked when I started taking the car apart. In the intervening years the grunge had been a bit mischievous and the handbrake was not working aging.
Still needs work.
