xThe pictures showing progress of the great adventure of what started as simply a repaint are divided into EPOCHs. Each EPOCH is a stage in this XK-120’s journey from where it was, to where it is, with each EPOCH being a new venue for repairs.
kEPOCHs 1 to 12 are the adventure from a complete working car to when it came home for the final time. EPOCH 13 is progress on the final steps of fixing the botch jobs of the body shops and poorly fitting replacement parts to getting the 120 back to a fully drivable car.

2It has been an adventure. Hopefully others can learn from our trials and tribulations, helping them in their own restoration process. One must keep in mind this work has been undertaken by an armature restorer, with many mistakes made along the way. If I knew then what I know now …
